2010 marks the 24th year since founding members John Rzeznik and Robby Takac first starting playing music together. Joined for the past 15 years by drummer Mike Malinin, the Goo Goo Dolls will be touring in support of their ninth studio album, Something For The Rest Of Us. Written and recorded over the past couple of years, the album delivers another dose of great Goo songs.

On the heels on their huge 4th of July show in Philly, Robby gave us a call to answer some of YOUR questions!!

Questions Asked (14):

How does Naked NOT make it on to EITHER of the greatest hits CD's? How did tracks 10 thru 14 beat Naked on to the first hits CD?
As well as the fans enjoying your music, do you have a sense of how your music has helped so many of us and how important that is?
What's your favorite song of the new album and why?
are you coming to Europe for tour soon? I really hope you come to Poland etc.!
Are you coming to Poland or something? We really need you here! :(
Would you ever consider a real European tour in which you'd visit more countries to see how many people would show up and if maybe you could come back again later? (like Lifehouse did)
What do you think of artists who record their own shows and sell the audio to their fans afterwards? Would you ever consider doing that yourself?
We now have half of the songs from the new album, 'Home', 'One Night', 'Now I Hear', 'As I Am', 'Sweetest Lie' &'SFTROU'. Will you premiere any more during the Summer Tour?
what's your favourite music bands and artists, Robby?
So you have songs that have appeared in movies before and movie soundtracks, Which was the coolest movie or soundtrack you guys got to drop your song on?
I know many years ago you guys were on tour with The Stones for the Bridges to babylon tour, what was that like for you guys to travel with such a huge band back then. Would you still feel the same way if you done it again. Anyone who travels with a band that big has to be a little starstruck at first I'm sure?
Most of my family is from Tonawanda and I know you guys are from Buffalo too. Are you guys Sabres fans? If so, what do you think of the state of the team right now?
I'm a big fan of Every Time I Die, who are also from Buffalo. Do you keep up with any local bands?
Your band has toured with a number of supporting acts through the years - is there a particular band that stands out as a favorite touring partner?
